  • On a reel (vellum/thermal paper) (for use with heat transfer)
  • In zig-zag form
  • On an A4 sheet for laser printers and copiers
  • For matrix printers

Etilux has 50 years of experience in creating labels and offers a range of advice to support you in selecting the various elements that will form your label.

THE MATERIAL AND THE ADHESIVE

Various materials are available, depending on your applications: vellum paper, coated paper, Kromekote, vinyl, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester.
The adhesive may be permanent, removable, reinforced, re-positionable or in contact with food when the label is in direct contact with the product (e.g. labels on an apple).

PRINTING

There are various printing techniques. Rendering and UV resistance differ, depending on the technique used. The choice of printing technique also varies depending on the graphic complexity of your visual. Flexography and serigraphy are used in the context of flattened colours, while offset printing is reserved for four-coloured printing and digital is reserved for limited printing runs.

THE FORM AND GRAPHIC FILE

We offer several hundred different templates and formats. In addition, your labels can be enhanced in various ways, such as:
the addition of variable data: bar codes, QR code, incremental numbering, database file
varnish, hot foil, lamination, special inks, Braille
environmental constraints: cold, humidity, UV, etc.
